Bologna

A 513 room student residence under construction in the oldest university city in the world and 10 minutes’ walk from the main university. On completion, it will be one of the tallest buildings in Bologna, affording panoramic views of the historic central area of the city from the top floor, student sky lounge. Forward sold to M & G.

Passau

A 300 room student residence within easy walking distance of the University of Passau, which is in the process of expanding its facilities and increasing its undergraduate population. The completed development of studio rooms will be let at affordable rents. Construction is due to start in 2022.

Vienna Dresdnerstrasse 107

A 633 room student residence completed in 2017 and operated by IC Campus under their FIZZ brand. One of the first modern student residences to be constructed in Austria. Sold to an Allianz affiliated fund.

Budapest

A 1,000 room student residence, adjacent to the Semmelweis University, Hungary’s 250 year old, pre-eminent medical university and teaching hospital. The student population of Budapest is 150,000 with almost 20,000 international students, most of whom attend the Semmelweis University. The project has received a building permit and construction is due to start in 2022.

Turin

A 576 room student residence, 10 minutes’ walk from the Technical University. Occupying most of a city block, the project will also have its own urban park. One of the protected buildings on the site will accommodate the Technical University’s patent department. Under construction and forward sold to M & G.

Vienna Dresdnerstrasse 109

The second phase of Stonehill’s Dresdnerstrasse project, which has been configured to provide short and long stay accommodation for students and young professionals. It is operated by iLive under their “Rioca” brand. The project completed Q2 2020 and was sold to AEW.

Milan

A 457 room student residence in a prime location, immediately next to the Milan Technical University’s Bovisa campus and adjacent to two over-ground railway stations, providing rapid access to the city centre and Malpensa airport. The residence will be set in extensive landscaped grounds, which will include tennis courts and other leisure amenities. Construction is due to start in 2022.

Padua

A prime 550 room student residence opposite one of Italy’s most famous historic monuments – the Scrovegni Chapel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, housing Giotto’s incomparable, early 14th C frescoes.  The University of Padua was founded in 1222 and is the second oldest in Italy after Bologna, which ranks as the world’s oldest. The residence is 5 minutes’ walk from the main railway station to the north, the university area to the southeast and the historic centre of Padua to the south. Padua is less than 30 mins by train from Santa Lucia station in Venice.
